Professional Marine Construction - Underwater construction and installation: piers, jetties, pipelines, and offshore platforms

Marine Construction Company in Egypt

Underwater construction and installation: piers, jetties, pipelines, and offshore platforms

Overview

Almancy provides full-scope underwater marine construction across Egypt's ports, the Suez Canal, and offshore fields. Our commercial divers and marine engineers install, repair, and maintain piers, jetties, quay walls, subsea pipelines, intakes, and offshore platform structures using underwater concrete placement, pile driving and extraction, and precision rigging. Each project is planned around tidal windows, vessel traffic, and strict safety protocols, with diving supervisors coordinating surface and subsea teams to deliver on schedule and to specification. From new installations to the rehabilitation of ageing port infrastructure, we manage the work from survey and method statement through execution and as-built reporting, while minimizing disruption to operations and environmental impact.

Marine Construction — Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about marine construction in Egypt and the Suez Canal.

How is underwater concrete poured?
Underwater concrete is placed using a tremie pipe or pump that carries the mix below the surface and discharges it into formwork without washing out the cement. Specialised anti-washout mixes hold the concrete together during placement, letting our divers build and repair quay walls, footings, and pile caps in place.
How are subsea pipelines installed?
Subsea pipelines are laid along a surveyed route, then connected, supported, and protected by divers who handle tie-ins, flange make-up, spool installation, trenching or rock placement, and pre-commissioning checks. Our divers carry out the underwater connection and protection work and inspect the line before it is brought into service.
How does underwater pile driving work?
Piles are positioned and driven into the seabed to support jetties, piers, and platforms, with divers guiding the pile, checking verticality, and confirming penetration and seating below the waterline. We also extract redundant piles during port rehabilitation work.
Do you work in the Suez Canal and Egyptian ports?
Yes. We are based in Suez at Port Tawfiq and mobilise marine-construction teams to the Suez Canal, the Red Sea, the Mediterranean, and ports across Egypt. Working from one home base keeps our teams close to the canal corridor for fast mobilisation.
