Complete dismantling and removal of the Shahd Cleopatra vessel, requiring precision cutting and environmental safety measures.
The Challenge
The Shahd Cleopatra vessel was deemed beyond economic repair and required complete dismantling and removal. The project required careful planning to ensure environmental compliance, safe removal of hazardous materials, and efficient cutting of the vessel's steel structure. All work had to be conducted without disrupting nearby port operations.
Our Solution
Our specialized team developed a comprehensive dismantling plan that prioritized safety and environmental protection. We used underwater cutting equipment combined with surface operations to systematically dismantle the vessel. Hazardous materials were carefully identified and removed before structural cutting began. Our divers worked in coordination with crane operators to remove cut sections efficiently.

The Results
The vessel was completely dismantled and removed within 3 weeks, meeting all environmental and safety standards. Over 500 tons of steel were recovered for recycling. The operation was completed with zero environmental incidents, and the area was restored to normal port use immediately upon completion.
